Job summary

apetito Limited is seeking a detail-focused Food Technologist for our New Product Development team in the UK. The role involves reviewing and maintaining product and ingredient data, coordinating with suppliers to ensure up-to-date information is accurate and compliant for safe, high-quality meals.

You will support a high volume of specifications and contribute to data integrity from concept through to launch, reporting to the Food Technology Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Experience in Food Manufacturing.
• Experience checking raw material specifications for accuracy and compliance.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of Food Legislation for delivery to end consumer.
• Competent use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritise a busy workload of specification reviews.
• Collaborate with suppliers to prepare and maintain raw material specifications.
• Obtain timely stakeholder approvals of specifications.
• Keep internal systems up to date with current product information.
• Maintain accuracy of products, recipes and specifications in systems.
• Keep abreast of key legislative changes and implement them.
