Job summary

Halliday Marx are partnering with an exceptional hospitality business to hire a Financial Controller on an interim basis for 18 months. You will take ownership of day-to-day financial control, reporting and FP&A, and you will lead a finance team of eight while partnering with senior stakeholders.

You will oversee month-end, management accounts and financial reporting, maintain strong governance and controls, and provide commercial insight to support strategic decision-making across the business.

Qualifications

• 8+ years post-qualified experience.
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification required.
• Proven experience leading teams of 6+ people.
• Strong financial controls and month-end experience.
• Available to start within 1 month.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day financial control, reporting, and FP&A.
• Lead, manage and develop a finance team of 8.
• Oversee month-end, management accounts and financial reporting.
• Ensure strong financial controls, processes and governance are maintained.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across the wider business.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and business planning.
• Drive improvements across finance processes and systems.
• Provide commercial insight and analysis to support decision-making.
• Work closely with the Finance Director and wider leadership team.
