Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group is seeking an Interim Financial Controller for a Havant-based SME for a four-month period to lead the finance function during a time of change.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will deliver statutory returns, monthly analysis by product/division, and management accounts with budgeting and reforecasting. The role is office-based with a daily rate reflecting experience and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading finance in an SME environment.
• Attention to detail with strategic view.
• Excellent communication with non-finance colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all statutory returns and liaise with external auditors.
• Provide monthly analysis and results by product and division to aid business planning.
• Produce monthly management accounts and oversee budgeting and monthly reforecasting with variance commentary.
• Ensure internal controls and processes align with group standards and external requirements.
