Job Description:

Charity People is working with a £10 million turnover NGO to recruit an Interim Financial Controller for 3-6 months based in East London.

The organisation's working week is 4 days, with a salary of £62,539 for four days.

The candidate is expected to start early June 2025.

Salary: £62,539 for four days per week

Must have: strong knowledge of Charity SORP and statutory accounts

Experience: led on system upgrade or implementation

Work arrangement: Hybrid, going to East London twice a week

Key responsibilities include:

• Completing annual accounts and audits (final stages of annual audit)
• Coordinating financial system upgrade, managing the project and working closely with the Project Manager. The project has just started and the system has been selected.
• Leading payments, accounts payable, and receivable teams, including a relatively new team member.
• Following up on audit findings.

This role will close on 4th June 2025.
