Job Description:

Charity People is working with a £10 million turnover NGO to recruit an Interim Financial Controller for 3-6 months based in Bolton.

The organisation's working week is 4 days, offering a salary of £62,539 for four days.

The client is looking for a candidate to start early June 2025.

Salary: £62,539 for four days per week

Must be: very strong on Charity SORP and statutory accounts

Led system upgrade or implementation experience

Hybrid: Going to Bolton twice a week

Key responsibilities include:

• Completion of annual accounts and audit (currently in final stages)
• Coordinate financial system upgrade, managing and working closely with the Project Manager. The project has just started and the system has already been selected.
• Lead payments, accounts payable, and receivable teams, including managing a relatively new team member.
• Follow up on audit findings.

This role will close on 4th June 2025.
