St Catherine’s Hospice Sussex and Surrey is seeking an Interim Financial Controller for a 6‑month contract to lead the finance function, ensuring robust forecasting and budgeting to support strategic decision making.

The role requires strong team leadership, effective stakeholder engagement, and the timely production of management accounts and cashflow, with home-working options subject to business needs and regular onsite presence.

£60,000 to £65,000 per annum for 37.5 hours per week (depending on experience)

The Role:

This post is offered on a 6 month interim basis, working 37.5 hours per week. Our full time hours are 37.5 hours per week, worked 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday.

At St Catherine's we offer work from home opportunities, however, this is adaptable depending on business need and regular onsite presence is required.

The Financial Controller will be responsible for building strong relationships, providing robust and accurate financial forecasting and budgeting data with appropriate analysis to support the Finance Director, Senior Management Team and Board of Trustees in decision making processes and assurance of future sustainability.

The Interim Financial Controller role will bring:
