Job summary

St Catherine's Hospice is seeking an Interim Financial Controller to join our finance team in Crawley. The role is 6 months, 37.5 hours per week, with an option for some home working but regular onsite presence required.

You will lead the Finance Team, collaborate with the Finance Director and Senior Management Team, and ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting data, and timely management accounts and cashflow reporting. Salary £60,000–£65,000 per annum.

The Role:

This post is offered on a 6 month interim basis, working 37.5 hours per week. Our full time hours are 37.5 hours per week, worked 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday. At St Catherine's we offer work from home opportunities, however, this is adaptable depending on business need and regular onsite presence is required.

The Financial Controller will be responsible for building strong relationships, providing robust and accurate financial forecasting and budgeting data with appropriate analysis to support the Finance Director, Senior Management Team and Board of Trustees in decision making processes and assurance of future sustainability.

The Interim Financial Controller role will bring:

• Managing and developing the Finance Team delivering a first-class service to all stakeholders
• Building strong relationships with external stakeholders
• Supporting the Director of Finance & IT in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing analysis as required
• Responsible for the production of accurate and timely management accounts and cashflow
