Job summary

Venture Recruitment Partners is seeking a Financial Accountant on an interim basis for six months to support process improvements and ERP development ahead of year end.

The role focuses on strengthening financial controls, improving the accuracy of records, and assisting the rollout of improvements in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including fixed asset and balance sheet optimization.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA required.
• Experience implementing or improving ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Extensive fixed asset accounting knowledge.
• Strong understanding of balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive review and cleanse of the Fixed Asset Register.
• Implement and optimise the Fixed Asset module within the ERP system.
• Assist with the ongoing integration of web transactions into the ERP system, helping to streamline financial reporting and improve automation.
• Investigate and resolve existing balance sheet reconciliation issues relating to key accounts.
• Lead the setup and configuration of new legal entities within the ERP system.
• Support the implementation of the annual budget within the ERP system.
• Assist with wider finance transformation initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
