About Our Client

Market leading FMCG / Retail business with a strong employer brand, based in Nottingham.

Job Description

• Month end close activities including supervision of offshore team, review and approval of journals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Supporting onshore and offshore teams to adopt new process solutions that maximise the benefits of a single platform for 3 businesses.
• Business readiness activities including User Acceptance Testing, Standard Operating Procedures updates, and training.
• Data readiness activities including cleanse and transformation of data ahead of migration to S/4.
• Transition to new system/cut over planning and execution support.

The Successful Applicant

You will be a technically strong, qualified accountant, with experience of working within a medium / large sized business. You will have team management experience and strong process improvement skills. This role is on-site in Nottingham, so you will ideally be based in the East Midlands.

What's on Offer

£55-65k plus good pension and bonus. Initial 9 month contract.
