Job Description

• Assist in consolidating a number of subsidiaries into a group finance function.
• Support the Finance Director in implementing an appropriate finance system to support business growth.
• Oversee all aspects of financial management, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
• Produce and review statutory accounts, P&L statements, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Take ownership of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, aligning them with business goals.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning across a growing group structure.
• Ensure compliance with statutory reporting, VAT, and corporate tax obligations.
• Manage a medium-sized transactional finance team.

The Successful Applicant

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with strong technical expertise.
• Proven experience as a Financial Manager or similar role in a multi-site business.
• Hands-on approach with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Skilled in Xero accounting software, with the ability to drive improvements and efficiencies.
• Strong knowledge of cash flow management, audit processes, and financial controls.
