Description

The Interim Senior Management Accountant/Finance Manager plays a key role in the success and development of the finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Finance Manager will be responsible for:

• Managing and developing the Accounts Receivable department, implementing controls, processes, and systems to ensure strong cash flow.
• Developing comprehensive Management Accounts with detailed variance reports.
• Assisting with the production of Statutory Accounts.
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations.
• Managing VAT and other statutory returns.
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Developing reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborating on bids and tenders to improve accuracy.
• Working with other departments to align financial and business objectives.
• Preparing financial forecasts and budgets.
• Conducting risk management activities.

Profile

A successful Interim Finance Manager should have:

• A professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CIPFA).
• Strong management accounting skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Proficiency in financial modeling.
• Experience with financial management software.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
