An Interim Finance Manager is required in the Business Services sector, focusing on the Accounting & Finance department. The role is based in Newport, and the successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing financial management and reporting activities.

Description

The Interim Finance Manager is a key role in the success and development of the finance team.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Finance Manager will be responsible for:

1. Management and development of the Accounts Receivable department. You will be tasked to implement and or improve controls, processes and systems to enable strong cashflow in the business.
2. Develop a robust suite of Management Accounts with detailed reports showing all variances to budgets and actuals v forecasts.
3. Assist the FC with the production of the Statutory Accounts.
4. All balance sheet reconciliations.
5. VAT and other statutory returns.
6. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
7. Develop a suite of reports for both internal use and for external customers.
8. Work with the FC and the Bids and Tenders team to develop more precise bids and tenders information.
9. Collaborate with other departments to align financial and business goals.
10. Prepare financial forecasts and budgets.
11. Conduct risk management activities.

Profile

A successful Interim Finance Manager should have:

1. A Professional Finance Qualification in ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA.
2. Excellent Management Accounting skills including budgeting, forecasting and developing reports.
3. Good financial modelling skills.
4. Proficiency in financial management software.
5. Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
7. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Offer

3. Competitive daily rate of £260 - £310 per day via an umbrella company.
