Job summary

Arthur Recruitment, on behalf of a major insurer in London, seeks an experienced finance professional to deliver hands-on accounting and regulatory services during an important merger. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the role requires extensive insurance reporting experience, including IFRS17 and Solvency II.

You will maintain monthly management accounting packs, lead statutory reporting workflows, manage the external audit process, and work with stakeholders including reinsurance

• Strong insurance accounting background with IFRS17 and Solvency II reporting experience.

• Maintain and monitor regular financial processes, producing monthly management accounting packs to support strategic business decisions.
• Lead statutory reporting workflows and manage the end-to-end external audit process.
• Maintain strong knowledge of FRS, IFRS, and regulatory standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including reinsurance brokers and the International Group.
