A leading FMCG business near Bedford is seeking a commercially focused Finance Manager to join their dynamic team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The Role:

As Finance Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering accurate, timely financial insights to drive performance. You’ll lead a small team and work closely with operations, supply chain, and commercial departments—offering true business partnering and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the month-end close and management reporting cycle
• Provide insightful variance analysis and commentary
• Business partner with non-finance stakeholders to drive performance
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal controls
• Prepare for year-end and liaise with auditors
• Identify and implement process and system improvements

What We’re Looking For:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
• Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or a product-led business
• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement skills
• Advanced Excel and financial systems experience
• Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
