The Interim Finance Manager will play a crucial role by providing strategic financial guidance to the Accounting & Finance department. The ideal candidate will offer effective financial solutions, ensuring the company's financial stability and growth.

Description

• Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the Accounting & Finance department.
• End to end payroll of between 30-50 staff.
• Monthly management accounts
• Data analysis
• Prepayments / Accruals
• Developing strategies to optimise financial performance and strategic position.
• Implementing financial systems and processes.
• Working closely with other team members to understand and manage product costs.
• Budgeting / Forecasting / Reporting
• Reviewing and endorsing budget proposals, financial plans, and business forecasts.
• Ensuring compliance with financial laws and guidelines.
• Monitoring financial performance by measuring and analysing results.
• Educating and coaching managers regarding finance and accounting procedures.

Profile

A successful Interim Finance Manager should have:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
• Proficiency in financial management software.
• Excellent understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods.
• Ability to strategise and solve problems.
• Payroll background is essential.
• Great internal / external stakeholder manager
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
• Strong knowledge of financial laws and procedures.
• IT: SAGE (desirable)
