The post holder will provide expert financial management, support and advice to designated clinical directorates, aiming to deliver budgets, forecasts and insight under challenging conditions.

Responsibilities

• Leading the production of budgets, forecasts, monthly financial reports and variance analysis.
• Providing specialist financial advice to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Supporting the delivery of business planning, budget setting and financial recovery plans.
• Monitoring income and expenditure, delivering DV programmes and KPIs, ensuring financial targets are achieved.
• Leading and developing the finance team supporting the directorates, providing coaching and support to both finance and non-finance colleagues.
