Job summary

NELFT North East London Foundation Trust is seeking a proactive Finance Business Partner to join our Financial Management team in London. You will support month-end processing, forecasting, budgetary control and management reporting, while building strong working relationships with budget holders across directorates.

You will contribute to annual budgeting, monitor staffing establishments, and identify variances to develop recovery plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial management within a large organisation, preferably NHS
• Strong analytical and variance analysis skills
• Proven ability to work with budget holders and managers

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly budget reports and variance analysis within agreed timescales
• Input journals and virements to maintain accurate general ledger data
• Support budget holders in controlling their budgets within overall constraints
• Assist in annual budget setting with Budget holders and system changes
• Monitor staffing establishments using the payroll system and staffing data
• Identify significant variances and work with budget holders to recover balance
• Advise on projected outturn to the Senior Finance Business Partner
• Assist costing of service developments proposed by the Trust
