Job summary

North East London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a proactive Finance Business Partner to join our Financial Management team. You will report to the Senior Finance Business Partner and support month-end processing, forecasting, and budgetary control within the NHS framework.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly budget reports and variance analysis with timely submissions to budget holders.
• Maintain general ledger accuracy through journals and virements.
• Support budget holders to manage their budgets within approved constraints.
• Assist in annual budget setting with budget holders and relevant systems changes.
• Monitor staffing establishments using the electronic staffing records system.
• Identify material variances and develop recovery plans to achieve financial balance.
• Provide financial advice to budget holders and liaise with internal and external auditors.
