Howett Thorpe is seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller for a growing consumer-focused business in Farnborough. You will lead a hands-on review of end-to-end finance and operating processes, from order entry to invoicing, fulfilment, accounting and month-end close.

You'll trace information flows, identify bottlenecks and implement practical improvements in controls, reporting and automation to support future growth. Collaboration with CEOs and senior leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with strong controls and governance.
• Experience mapping end-to-end finance/operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Review the end-to-end process from order entry through invoicing, fulfilment, accounting and month-end close.
• Investigate information flow between operational and financial teams.
• Identify bottlenecks, delays, and duplication across functions.
• Assess accuracy and timeliness of reporting and month-end close processes.
• Evaluate current controls, cash-flow reporting and forecasting.
