Job summary

Talent Finance Ltd is seeking an Interim Financial Controller in Poole/Bournemouth to partner with the Finance Director, bring financial clarity, and lead a team through a period of change. The role is a six-month FTC with an immediate start and salary circa £65,000–£70,000.

The successful candidate will have strong technical accounting and financial control skills, solid management reporting, and experience in a fast-paced operational or manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Financial Controller experience within a fast paced, operational business.
• Excellent technical accounting and financial control capability.
• Experience working through significant change, transformation, acquisition or integration.
• Manufacturing experience ideally, although multi site or distribution experience will also be considered.
• Strong management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and working capital experience.
• A calm, pragmatic approach and the ability to quickly bring structure and control.
• Strong people skills and the ability to lead and support teams through change.
• The confidence to work closely with and challenge senior stakeholders.

Interim Financial Controller

Poole / Bournemouth £65,000 to £70,000 6 Month FTC Immediate Start

Talent Finance are urgently looking to speak with experienced Financial Controllers or similar for a well established, multi site manufacturing and distribution business going through a significant period of change and evolution following acquisition.

This is an immediate requirement and we're keen to speak to people asap who have the right experience and can start straight away or at very short notice.

Working closely with the Finance Director as their trusted right hand, you'll help bring control, structure and financial clarity to a fast moving and operationally complex business.

You'll need to be technically strong, comfortable getting into the detail and able to quickly understand what is happening across the numbers, while maintaining a broader commercial view.

The people piece is equally important. They need someone who can build relationships, bring people with them and get the best out of a team through a challenging period of change.

We'd really like to talk to you if you have:

• Strong Financial Controller experience within a fast paced, operational business

Salary is circa £65,000 to £70,000, depending on experience, with an initial six month contract and potential to extend.
