Job summary

Siena Partnership seeks an experienced Interim Finance Director (No.1 in Finance) for a 12 months fixed-term contract to lead the finance function through a phase of growth for a private equity-backed, multi-site leisure business.

The role partners with the CEO, leadership team and PE sponsor to deliver the growth plan, strengthen controls, improve reporting and provide commercial insight to drive site performance and expansion decisions.

Qualifications

• FD with PE-backed, multi-site leisure, hospitality or consumer-facing business.
• Strong commercial judgement and hands-on approach.
• Experience in governance, controls, reporting and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO, leadership team and PE sponsor to deliver the growth plan.
• Strengthening financial controls, reporting and governance.
• Improving site-level performance reporting, KPIs and commercial insight.
• Leading budgeting, forecasting, cash management and strategic planning.
• Supporting new site openings, investment decisions and potential acquisitions.
• Developing a scalable finance function capable of supporting continued expansion.
• Building and upskilling the finance team while maintaining strong day-to-day delivery.

We are supporting a private equity-backed, multi-site leisure business seeking an experienced Interim FD (No1 in Finance) to lead the finance function through its next phase of growth.

• Strengthening financial controls, reporting and governance.
• Improving site-level performance reporting, KPIs and commercial insight.
• Leading budgeting, forecasting, cash management and strategic planning.
• Supporting new site openings, investment decisions and potential acquisitions.
• Developing a scalable finance function capable of supporting continued expansion.
• Building and upskilling the finance team while maintaining strong day-to-day delivery.

The successful candidate will be a proven FD with experience in a PE-backed, multi-site leisure, hospitality or consumer-facing business. They will combine strong commercial judgement with the ability to remain hands-on and quickly improve financial discipline, visibility and decision-making.
