Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd. is recruiting an Interim Facilities Project Manager for a Local Authority in the South East of England. You will oversee a varied portfolio of facilities and building-related projects from initial scoping through to procurement, implementation and handover.

You will work closely with internal departments, consultants and contractors to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget and to required quality standards while improving the Council’s property estate.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of leading multiple complex projects in a large organisation.
• Experience delivering facilities management, property improvement and refurbishment projects.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety across construction and building works, with contractor compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead facilities and property projects from scoping through handover, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate internal teams, consultants and contractors to meet scope, programme and quality.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts and change control; identify value engineering opportunities.
• Manage project governance, risk registers and reporting to senior officers.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations and sustainability objectives.
