Job summary

4Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking an Interim Programme Manager to lead capital projects and minor works in West Yorkshire. You will act as the Council’s technical and administrative manager, overseeing performance data, procurement activities, and governance to ensure value for money and alignment with corporate priorities.

You will engage with internal and external stakeholders, provide professional guidance on project management, and ensure robust reporting in line with local authority

Qualifications

• Experience managing capital projects or programmes.
• Knowledge of JCT contracts and construction procurement.
• Ability to interpret data and manage performance measures for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Act as Client Project Manager for capital projects.
• Have knowledge of JCT contracts and compliance.
• Be familiar with consultants and contractors roles in delivering projects (£300k–£1M).
• Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collate and review contract costs with good numeracy.
• Understand local authority working practices and governance.
• Participate in reporting requirements typical for local authorities.
