Our client, a public sector organization, is seeking an Interim Facilities and Maintenance Manager in Guildford, Surrey.
- Duration: Up to 6 months initially
- Full-time position
The role involves ensuring the smooth operation and delivery of facilities management and maintenance services, managing contractors and stakeholders effectively. Responsibilities include overseeing the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) strategy, supporting and enforcing Health & Safety best practices, and maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient building environment for users.
The ideal candidate will have extensive estates and facilities management experience, including maintenance management, project management, and handling specialist contracts and contractors. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
The candidate should be available to start immediately or on short notice.
