Job summary

Cobalt Recruitment is seeking an Interim Client Accountant in London for a focused six-week assignment. The role requires hands-on Qube experience and the ability to own monthly three‑way reconciliations and reconcile client money processes.

Start in October, rate £300–£350 per day, with an emphasis on establishing a repeatable reconciliation workflow and training the existing accounts team to operate independently.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Qube experience with monthly reconciliations.
• Understanding of nominal ledger and client money controls.
• Ability to investigate and resolve reconciling items and establish repeatable processes.
• Comfort training colleagues and documenting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Complete monthly nominal and three‑way reconciliations within Qube.
• Reconcile the client bank account, Qube cash book and nominal ledger.
• Investigate and resolve existing reconciling items and discrepancies.
• Document differences and maintain supporting information.
• Establish a repeatable monthly reconciliation process for client money audits.
• Provide practical guidance and training so the team can work independently.
