Job summary

Cobalt is partnering with an established property management business to appoint an Interim Client Accountant for a focused six‑week assignment in London.

The role requires hands‑on Qube experience to manage monthly three‑way reconciliations, reconcile client bank accounts, Qube cash book and nominal ledger, and to establish a repeatable process. Training the accounts team and resolving differences are key outcomes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Qube experience required.
• Experience with client money reconciliations.
• Ability to document differences and establish a repeatable process.
• Ability to train team members on processes.
• Available to start on short notice for six-week assignment.

Responsibilities

• Complete monthly nominal and three-way reconciliations within Qube.
• Reconcile the client bank account, Qube cash book and nominal ledger.
• Investigate and resolve existing reconciling items and discrepancies.
• Document outstanding differences with supporting information.
• Establish a repeatable monthly reconciliation process for client money audits.
• Provide practical guidance and training so the team can operate independently.
