Job summary

One Education is seeking an Interim Chief Executive Officer for a 12-month appointment based in Hulme, Manchester (M15 5GX). The role requires immediate start and will drive leadership, continuity and performance while delivering the Organisational Renewal Programme.

You will shape governance, strategy and commercial performance, build confidence across the Executive Team and wider staff, and deliver sustainable change during a period of transition.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience at CEO/MD level with responsibility for performance and delivery.
• Experience leading significant organisational change and renewal.
• Strong financial and commercial leadership with strategic focus.
• Governance experience with boards and owners.
• People leadership capabilities at senior level.
• Ability to manage complexity and uncertainty.
• Excellent communication with staff, customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear leadership to ensure continuity, stability and performance during the interim period.
• Take executive ownership of Organisational Renewal Programme and translate priorities into change.
• Lead the Executive Team and Programme Board to deliver agreed priorities.
• Build trust and confidence across the organisation and maintain stakeholder relationships.
