Job summary

Delphi Care Solutions Ltd is seeking experienced Interim/Turnaround Managers to join their elite Task Force on a freelance contractor basis across UK care homes. Roles are self-employed, project-based, with competitive daily rates and DBS checks.

Responsibilities include leading interventions, developing 30–90 day improvement plans, driving CQC readiness, mentoring teams and delivering sustainable care improvements while ensuring service continuity.

Qualifications

• Registered Manager with a valid NMC PIN (with clinical experience) or NVQ Level 5 Leadership & Management (non-clinical)
• Proven success turning around 'Inadequate' or 'Requires Improvement' services
• At least 5 years of recent experience as a registered manager in healthcare, preferably in a care home
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for care homes in the UK
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Own vehicle and full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Lead critical interventions– Take temporary leadership of struggling homes to rapidly improve CQC ratings
• Interim leadership - Take temporary leadership as stop-gaps for homes without managers
• Develop and execute 30–90-day service improvement plans with measurable outcomes
• Mentor care teams– Uplift staff capabilities while maintaining service continuity
• Stakeholder management throughout each assignment
• Proven success in turning around 'Inadequate' or 'Requires Improvement' services
