Job summary

Delphi Care Solutions is seeking an experienced Interim/Turnaround Manager to lead underperforming care homes across the UK on a freelance contractor basis. You will drive rapid CQC improvements, implement 30-90 day plans, mentor care teams, and select projects that match your expertise.

Candidates must have a Registered Manager background in healthcare, ideally with an NMC PIN or NVQ Level 5 Leadership & Management, and access to a vehicle. DBS update and professional indemnity are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recent experience in a registered manager role in healthcare, preferably in care homes.
• NMC PIN or NVQ Level 5 Leadership & Management required/preferred.
• Enhanced DBS and professional indemnity insurance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive operational diagnostics to identify root causes of underperformance.
• Implement immediate stabilising measures for crisis situations.
• Develop and execute CQC improvement roadmaps across Key Lines of Enquiry.
• Restructure care delivery to ensure sustainable quality improvements.
• Prepare homes for mock and actual CQC inspections and deliver handover documentation.
