Job summary

MBDA has a fantastic opportunity for an Interconnects Design Engineer in Stevenage, working within our Interconnects team to design bespoke electrical interconnects and cables for power, signal, and data transmission between subsystems. You will interpret subsystem requirements to generate schematics using Visio and HarnWare, and support manufacturing to resolve issues across a range of projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with Visio and HarnWare for electrical schematics and cable design.
• Understanding of product data management and change control in Windchill or similar.

Responsibilities

• Define, deploy and refine processes for electrical cabling within subsystems.
• Create electrical schematics and cable design definitions.
• Support manufacturing to resolve issues and assist with trials.
• Work within a growing interconnects team on complex projects.
