Hackajob Ltd. is seeking an experienced Interaction Designer to design accessible, user-centred digital services for public-facing clients. You will work across channels, conduct user research, prototype rapidly, and communicate design decisions with a strong evidence base.

Qualifications

• Proven experience using GOV.UK Prototype Kit, design systems and design patterns.
• Proven experience ensuring usability, accessibility, and inclusivity per WCAG and GOV.UK guidelines.
• Experience with Government Service Standard and service assessment across phases.
• Strong verbal, written, and facilitation skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to understand high-level technical processes and communicate them clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design simple, intuitive, accessible digital services meeting user and business needs.
• Take end-to-end view of services with user-centred interactions across channels.
• Participate in user research and use qualitative/quantitative evidence to inform design decisions.
• Rapidly prototype and test designs using paper, digital, and code-based methods.
• Produce interaction design artefacts: sketches, flows, wireframes, journey maps, prototypes.
