Job summary

NELFT NHS Foundation Trust is seeking experienced rehab assistants to join our staff bank in Ilford. You will support patient-centred rehabilitation and help deliver timely care within the Intensive Rehabilitation Service (IRS) across multiple boroughs.

As part of the IRS, you will work with a multidisciplinary team to implement treatment plans, monitor progress, coordinate with patients and carers, and ensure safe use of clinical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out and monitor treatment plans under guidance of healthcare professionals.
• Observe patient progress and contribute to clinical decision-making.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team across health, social, and voluntary sectors.
• Coordinate with patients, carers and transport services to organise care and visits.
• Maintain and competently use clinical equipment, report faults and manage stock.
• Follow health and safety protocols and organisational guidelines.
