Social Interest Group is seeking an Intensive Housing Management Officer to support residents in sustaining tenancies, improving wellbeing, and reintegrating into the community. The role focuses on housing management, safeguarding, and proactive tenancy support within complex needs accommodation in Romford.

The post requires strong communication, risk assessment, and IT skills, with a commitment to person-centred care and non-judgemental, empowering approaches to residents.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport across backgrounds.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with clients and colleagues.
• Knowledge of tenancy management, risk assessment and safeguarding practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist management with rent/charges collections, arrears, voids and warnings.
• Carry out regular occupancy checks and ensure repairs are reported to completion.
• Promote personal safety, health and security through meaningful social interactions.
• Support residents to sustain tenancies and achieve financial independence.
• Work with the wider team to support residents' long-term needs and reintegration.
