Job summary

The Royal College of Art invites applications for a permanent 0.6 FTE role within the Intelligent Mobility Design Centre. You will teach and mentor postgraduate students in the MA/MDes Intelligent Mobility Design programme, contributing to tutorials, lectures, workshops and critiques, and helping shape innovative design responses to future mobility.

You will also contribute to assessment, student support and the organisation of exhibitions and events, working with colleagues across the School

Qualifications

  • Degree in a relevant discipline, ideally with a postgraduate qualification.
  • Significant professional experience within Intelligent Mobility or related field.
  • Experience teaching, supervising and/or mentoring students.
  • Experience devising and delivering teaching, workshops, seminars or critiques.
  • Experience setting and assessing student work and providing constructive feedback.
  • Ability to supervise and support Master's-level projects.
  • Commitment to inclusive, positive and stimulating learning environments.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues and students from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

  • Teach across the programme through tutorials, lectures, workshops, seminars and critiques.
  • Contribute to assessment, student support and the organisation of exhibitions and events.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the School and the RCA.
  • Support the next generation of designers in intelligent mobility.
