Job summary

Eton College invites applications for six Graduate Teachers to join the Design department on a two-year fixed-term contract from September 2027. The role supports early career teachers in a well-resourced Design Schools with CAD studios and rapid prototyping equipment.

The programme provides structured training, mentorship, and a pathway to QTS via an Apprenticeship Route with PGCE delivered online through NITE and the University of Coventry. A full-boarding environment is part of the experience.

Qualifications

• A good undergraduate degree (2:1 or above) in a curriculum subject; a clear passion for that subject.
• GCSE English and Mathematics at grade C/4 or above to meet the QTS Apprenticeship Route requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop as a classroom practitioner with mentor support and increasing responsibility over two years.
• Complete QTS Apprenticeship Route with PGCE via NITE and University of Coventry in Year 2.
• Contribute to co-curricular activities, university applications support, trips and departments activities.
