An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented mid-level Intellectual Property lawyer (2-5 PQE) to join a dynamic and highly regarded IP team in London.

The Role

This role offers the chance to work on a wide range of complex and high-profile IP matters for clients across sectors including technology, life sciences, and consumer goods. The successful candidate will handle both contentious and transactional work, as well as standalone advisory projects.

Key responsibilities

• Advising on licensing arrangements, transaction structuring, infringement and clearance strategies, prosecution, and validity issues.
• Handling High Court proceedings involving trademarks and life sciences.
• Representing clients before the UK IPO and the CJEU.
• Delivering complex cross-border IP licensing projects across multiple sectors.
• Providing strategic IP advice and freedom-to-operate assessments for patents and trademarks.
• Supporting clients in matters relating to parallel imports and IP settlements.

Your Experience

We are seeking an exceptional lawyer with:

• 2-5 years of post-qualification experience in IP law gained at a top-tier firm or in-house.
• A strong grounding in both contentious and non-contentious IP matters.
• Experience across life sciences, technology, and FMCG sectors.
• A collaborative, proactive, and client-focused approach.
