Job summary

The Metropolitan Police Service is seeking an Integrated Intelligence Officer to join the Integrity Management Integrated Intelligence Team. This role supports intelligence-led integrity management, risk assessment and decision‑making across the organisation.

You will work across the full intelligence lifecycle, develop expertise in governance, analytical methods and professional judgement while protecting organisational risk and public trust in policing.

Qualifications

• Experience applying integrity management and risk assessment in security or policing contexts.
• Ability to compile clear intelligence reports and risk-based recommendations.
• Familiarity with vetting processes and professional standards requirements.

Responsibilities

• Gather, assess and analyse intelligence to identify integrity‑related risks.
• Research patterns and escalate significant intelligence timely.
• Produce reports and briefing products to support decision‑making.
• Conduct end‑to‑end vetting case reviews, including complex cases.
• Support QA processes and provide guidance on intelligence and vetting matters.
• Attend interviews and prepare documentation for hearings and conferences.
• Manage sensitive information per data protection and governance rules.
• Develop relationships with internal departments and external partners.
• Present information at meetings, hearings and tribunals as required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and promote integrity and ethics.
