Bedfordshire Police ERSOU ROCU is inviting applications for the Detective Chief Inspector – Threat Intelligence within our ROCU Command. Substantive DCI and Temporary Chief Inspectors with substantive rank take priority on interview, and the role will coordinate Strategic Governance Groups into SOC Threat Areas, led by Chief Officers from the seven forces.

The role requires independence, relationship-building with senior officers, and the ability to produce briefings for a wide audience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of Strategic Governance Groups into SOC Threat Areas, led by Chief Officers from the 7 Forces.
• Lead and oversee tactical delivery groups, instigate projects and provide a link into national working groups and HMICFRS.
• Build relationships with senior officers and produce briefings for wide audiences.
• Role will lead the Intelligence Department as DCI Threat Intelligence and support the Serious Organised Crime strategy in the East of England.
