Job summary

ITAC Solutions, LLC represents a transportation-focused client seeking an Integration & Test Engineer to own a complex EDI and systems environment end-to-end. This high-autonomy role requires you to be the sole technical resource, blending hands-on EDI and systems work with AI-assisted development while staying approachable to non-technical teammates.

• Hands-on EDI experience in transportation (X12 204, 990, 214, 210).
• Experience leading an integration or EDI provider cutover with a rehearsed rollback plan.
• Ability to read, run, and deploy someone else’s undocumented code.
• Working fluency with AI-assisted development tools (Claude preferred).
• Experience taking over an existing technical environment from a previous owner.
• Strong documentation skills and a self-directed working style.
• Personable, customer-service-minded communication with non-technical audiences.
• Experience with McLeod LoadMaster or PowerBroker (preferred).

Our client, a transportation-focused organization, is looking for an Integration & Test Engineer to own a complex EDI and systems environment end-to-end. This is a high-autonomy seat for someone who thrives working independently, can make sense of an existing technical environment quickly, and is comfortable being the sole technical resource. You'll blend hands-on EDI and systems work with modern AI-assisted development, all while staying approachable to non-technical teammates.
