Job summary

AtkinsRéalis UK Limited is seeking an Assistant Project Planner to shape delivery of major UK infrastructure projects in Manchester. You will develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6, track progress, and support informed decision-making across complex programmes, working with engineers, managers and controls professionals.

The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, producing dashboards in Excel/Power BI, and contributing to planning, reporting and change

Qualifications

• Essential Degree in a STEM subject.
• Demonstrable Primavera P6 experience in a project environment.
• Understanding of planning principles and baseline management.
• Strong analytical, numerical and critical-thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers and project managers.
• Define activity sequencing, track progress and perform schedule analysis.
• Maintain baselines, support change management and project controls processes.
• Produce schedule updates, performance analyses and management information for project teams.
