Job description

Puddletown Surgery is seeking a Registered Nurse with Practice or Community Nurse experience to join our Integrated Nursing Team. This role is suitable for a Nurse looking to develop skills in either community or practice nursing, with support and training provided.

The position offers up to 37.5 hours per week, with flexible hours or job sharing considered. Salary is negotiable based on experience.

Main Duties

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide evidence-based, holistic, and patient-centered care within our practice and in patients' homes.

Puddletown Surgery is a small rural training practice serving 4,300 patients with three GPs. We pride ourselves on comprehensive healthcare and supporting our team’s development and wellbeing.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing care plans, managing chronic diseases, providing screenings, wound care, administering injections, supporting palliative care, and assisting with minor surgeries and emergencies.

Administrative duties involve maintaining accurate records, using the SystmOne system, and contributing to practice policies and service development.
