Integrated Outreach Team Leader

Full Time / Permanent (Mon-Fri)

37.5 hours per week

Our client is dedicated to helping homeless people across London find secure accommodation and work towards a positive future. They support homeless individuals to recover from personal issues and break down barriers, recognizing homelessness as more than just a housing issue. They provide a range of accommodation and support services to help individuals reach their full potential.

They are seeking a passionate Integrated Outreach Team Leader to provide effective leadership, motivation, and support to their team of Rough Sleeper Outreach Workers and Navigators, ensuring the delivery of outcome-focused interventions to help rough sleepers leave the street and achieve independence.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide visible leadership and foster a positive, supportive environment for your team.
  • Manage a team of Outreach Workers and Navigators providing services to rough sleepers.
  • Oversee HR processes in line with organizational policies.
  • Manage team expenses and petty cash adherence.
  • Ensure high performance and achievement of KPIs within your team.
  • Oversee daily operations of your Outreach Team.
  • Ensure outreach services meet commissioner expectations and address the needs of rough sleepers.
  • Act as escalation point for concerns from your team, rough sleepers, and partner agencies.
  • Ensure health and safety protocols are followed for staff and service users.
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based outreach services, including quality assurance and audits.
  • Oversee safeguarding activities to protect vulnerable individuals.
  • Develop partnerships to enhance service delivery.
  • Represent the organization at meetings.
  • Address complex needs through tailored support plans.
  • Identify and engage with rough sleepers, including those initially unwilling to engage.
  • Manage caseloads, providing consistent support.
About You:

Candidates should demonstrate:

  • Experience in outreach services and understanding of support needs such as mental health, substance misuse, harm minimization.
  • Empathy, passion, and commitment to homeless and vulnerable populations.
  • Experience working with vulnerable individuals.
  • Willingness to participate in shift work.
  • Proactivity in multi-agency contexts and referral skills.
  • Ability to record accurate notes and complete forms promptly.

Desirable: Experience managing similar teams/services; driving license preferred.

This full-time role requires shift work aligned with rough sleeping patterns.
