Job summary

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking Band 6 Occupational Therapists to join a dynamic rotational service across Community Rehabilitation Hospital, Community Therapy Team, and Hospital at Home Service.

You will develop specialist skills in a range of settings, working within a supportive MDT to maximise patient independence and safe discharge to home environments.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
• Fluent English language (written and spoken).
• Computer literacy for data entry and report writing.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, treatment & rehabilitation across Community Rehabilitation Hospital, Community Therapy Team & Hospital at Home Service.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to maximise independence and support discharge.
• Assess and treat patients in their own homes, enabling admission avoidance and early supported discharge.
• Contribute to integrated health and social care planning, risk assessment and clinical governance.
• Provide supervision for junior staff, assistants & students and participate in service development.
