Job summary

Birtwistle's is seeking an experienced Intake Manager to lead the intake team, manage traceability systems, and oversee the timely receipt and scheduling of deliveries. The role focuses on QA/QC, weight accuracy, and stock rotation across multiple UK sites.

You will drive continuous improvement, build relationships with managers, and adapt to change while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and the ability to develop good working relationships with managers in other areas of the business to deliver the common goals of the business in terms of profitability and provision of agreed service levels to customers.
• Willingness to embrace change and the ability to work to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• The day-to-day management of the intake team
• Ensuring Intake traceability systems are managed and controlled
• Timely receipt of all goods/deliveries and control of the intake schedule
• QA/QC of all deliveries, ensuring the quality/weight is to agreed orders and specifications
• Stock rotation and stock management of all goods
