Job summary

Birtwistle's is seeking an experienced Intake Manager to lead the intake team, manage traceability systems, and oversee the timely receipt and scheduling of deliveries. The role focuses on QA/QC, weight accuracy, and stock rotation across multiple UK sites.

You will drive continuous improvement, build relationships with managers, and adapt to change while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Good communication skills and the ability to develop good working relationships with managers in other areas of the business to deliver the common goals of the business in terms of profitability and provision of agreed service levels to customers.
• Willingness to embrace change and the ability to work to tight deadlines.

• The day-to-day management of the intake team

We would welcome applications for this Intake Manager role from candidates with skills in intakes, goods inwards, stock management, FLT, poultry, inventory, SLAs, leadership, people management, warehousing, goods-in, stock control, or previous experience as an Intake Manager or Warehouse Manager.
