Job summary

Melton Foods, part of Samworth Brothers, is seeking an Advanced Intake Operative to help ensure deliveries arrive safely, checks are completed correctly, and products are stored in the right place. You’ll work in a chilled environment as part of a supportive team, following clear processes to keep production on time.

You will operate in a structured setting, maintain high standards for food safety, temperature control, and intake procedures, and use manual handling equipment safely.

Qualifications

• Experience in a factory, warehouse, or intake role.
• An understanding of food safety and temperature control.
• The ability to follow clear processes and routines.
• A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.

Job description

As an Advanced Intake Operative, you play an important role in our daily operation. You help ensure deliveries arrive safely, checks are completed correctly, and products are stored in the right place. This allows production to run smoothly and on time. This role offers hands-on work within a clear and structured environment. You will be part of a supportive team and your contribution will help maintain high standards across the site. You will work in chilled areas and follow well-defined processes.,
