Job summary

The AA in London is seeking a high-impact Broker Trading professional to help shape the trading performance of Motor, Van and Home insurance portfolios. You will join the Broker Trading team and work with the Head of Trading to turn data and market insight into decisions that drive growth and value.

This role offers significant senior stakeholder exposure and the opportunity to influence across Pricing, Proposition, Growth, Operations and Digital.

Qualifications

• Experience managing or supporting commercial trading performance within B2C insurance or another regulated consumer business.
• Strong commercial mindset balancing growth, retention, customer value and business performance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability using data and insight.
• Confidence influencing stakeholders and building relationships across cross-functional teams.
• Experience collaborating with Pricing, Finance and Proposition to turn insight into action.
• Clear communication translating complex analysis into practical recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day delivery of the trading plan using performance insight for portfolio growth across Motor, Van and Home insurance.
• Analyse and present trading performance to senior stakeholders with clear recommendations.
• Partner with Pricing, Proposition and Growth to develop trading initiatives and offers.
• Own retention discount approach with Trading, Proposition and Operations.
• Monitor competitor and market activity to identify trends and opportunities for action.
• Act as trading link across Operations, Digital, Proposition and Growth to align priorities.
