Job summary

The AA is seeking a high-impact trading professional to shape the performance of Motor, Van and Home insurance portfolios. You’ll own day-to-day trading, translate data into action, and influence across Pricing, Proposition, Growth and Operations to drive portfolio growth and customer value.

You’ll partner with senior stakeholders, monitor market activity, and deliver on regulatory and governance standards as part of the Broker Trading team.

Qualifications

• Experience managing or supporting commercial trading performance within B2C insurance or another regulated consumer business.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with data-driven insight.
• Confidence influencing stakeholders and building cross-functional relationships.
• Experience collaborating with Pricing, Finance and Proposition to turn insight into action.
• Clear communication translating complex analysis for varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day delivery of the trading plan, across Motor, Van and Home insurance.
• Analyse and present trading performance to senior stakeholders with actionable recommendations.
• Partner with Pricing, Proposition and Growth to develop trading initiatives and offers.
• Own the retention discount approach to support retention while delivering commercial benefit.
• Monitor competitor and market activity to identify trends and opportunities for action.
• Act as the key trading link across Operations, Digital, Proposition and Growth to enable coordinated delivery.
• Support trading forecasts and ensure governance and customer outcomes are met.
