Job summary

DXC Technology in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Application System Support Manager (SQL / Insurance Systems) to lead an international support team delivering insurance software solutions across various markets.

You will manage SLA delivery, issue resolution, releases, invoicing, staffing, utilization and billability while maintaining high customer satisfaction and service quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in insurance industry practices or systems.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to motivate teams.
• Proven SQL Server skills including investigations, fixes, testing and deployments.
• Excellent organisational, reporting and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver quality service.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead client service delivery through regular meetings, reviews, reporting and proactive communication.
• Manage team performance, quality, compliance, documentation, processes and resource planning.
• Provide application and SQL support, ensure service levels and client expectations are met.
• Oversee invoicing, utilization, and contractual SLA achievement.
• Act as escalation point for clients and internal teams.
• Coordinate release planning and transition of new clients into support.
• Train and mentor team members on processes and SQL issues.
• Manage day-to-day team administration and performance management.
• Collaborate with development, QA, service delivery and client teams for continuous service improvement.
