Job summary

Gallagher in Stretford is hiring for a customer-focused role within our insurance service team. You’ll participate in comprehensive training to become proficient in insurance fundamentals, policies handling, and systems used to support customers.

Develop your career with us through a structured progression programme and fully funded professional qualifications (CII). Expect to assist customers with home insurance details, capture information, and guide them to suitable solutions.

Qualifications

• Ability to explain complex language in simple terms, either in writing and/or over the phone.
• Attention to detail to accurately review and assess documentation.
• Empathy and the ability to remain calm and composed when dealing with customers.
• Customer service skills to provide a positive experience for customers throughout.
• GCSEs, or equivalent including English and Maths.

Responsibilities

• Create insurance quotes and renewals over the phone to provide the best price for customers, recommending the right type of cover.
• Look for opportunities to upsell or cross-sell our range of products based on customer needs.
• Make and answer calls from customers to gather information, provide updates, and address questions.
• Leave the customer happy with a positive lasting impression and confidence in our products and services.
• Balance multiple tasks using a range of systems in a supportive, agile team.
